PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wojtek Svalbard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Souka Sudoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Souka Sudoka!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Svalbard forces Sudoka back against the cage and clinches.

Sudoka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sudoka has his foot on Svalbard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Svalbard works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Wojtek Svalbard will probably get the nod.

Svalbard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sudoka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Sudoka has control of Svalbard's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Svalbard regains control of the situation pretty easily.
