Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawson Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyson Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp shoots in for a takedown but Blaze shows good takedown defense.
Sharp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Blaze moves into the clinch.
Blaze misses with some punches.
Blaze throws a head punch that misses.
Blaze creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sharp's defenses.

Blaze breaks from the clinch.

Blaze clinches.
Blaze lands a nice uppercut.
Sharp tries to circle away but Blaze has him pinned against the cage.

Blaze manages to break the clinch.
Blaze scores with a nice strike.
Blaze scores with a kick to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blaze fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sharp.
Blaze moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blaze tries to bum rush Sharp with a series of wild strikes but Sharp uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blaze throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sharp.
Tyson Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lawson Sharp.
Blaze throws a nice head kick!
Blaze throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sharp stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sharp tries for a takedown but Blaze sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Blaze lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sharp looks gassed!
Blaze pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Tyson Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharp shoots in and drives through. Blaze sprawls well.
Blaze buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaze pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sharp back to the cage. Blaze follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Sharp avoids the head kick by Blaze.
Nice cross by Blaze.
Blaze throws a nice head kick!
Sharp looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blaze scores with a jab to the jaw.

Sharp is rocked!
Blaze throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Blaze cracks the inside of Sharp's front leg.
Blaze feints a jab promting Sharp to slip. Blaze then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sharp slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Sharp is still on wobbly legs! Can Blaze finish him?
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Blaze! Sharp is out on his feet! Blaze rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sharp is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sharp is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Blaze!
A relieved looking Tyson Blaze thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
