The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Strykzilla enables Nogueira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Strykzilla manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nogueira won't allow Strykzilla to get back to his feet.

Strykzilla is looking for a triangle here but Nogueira uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nogueira tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Strykzilla can't do much from the bottom here.

Nogueira swings around for an armbar but Strykzilla sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nogueira's guard.

Strykzilla closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nogueira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Strykzilla swivels and escapes.

Nogueira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strykzilla avoids it really well and circles away.

Nogueira seems to have recovered his senses.
Strykzilla lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Strykzilla lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Nogueira to his knees! Strykzilla keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
