Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Willy Coffey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wesley Person!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Person takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Person throws a head kick that misses.
Coffey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Coffey keeps the fight on the outside.
Person circles away from the clinch attempt.
Person forces Coffey back against the cage and clinches.
Coffey holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Coffey seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
A body shot lands from Coffey.
Person goes for a takedown attempt but Coffey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Person tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coffey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Person shoots in looking for a takedown but Coffey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Person's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Willy Coffey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wesley Person.
Person shoots in for a takedown but Coffey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Person shoots for a takedown but Coffey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Coffey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Person's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coffey creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Person is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Coffey has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Coffey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The strikes coming from Coffey are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Person takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Coffey thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Coffey lands a nice forearm strike.
Person is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Person tries to escape but Coffey is in control.
Person avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Coffey.
Coffey looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Person wants to get back to his feet but Coffey is dominant here and he's now got Person's back!

You can see the frustration on Person's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Coffey is punishing Person with strikes - can he finish him?!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Person has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Coffey.
Person is covering up but some of the strikes from Coffey are getting through and doing damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Person is trying to get back to his feet but Coffey has full control of the position and if anything, Person has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Person trying to control the action but Coffey just sinks the hooks in.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Person shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coffey as he jumps to the side.
Person throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coffey's waist but Coffey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Person off to one side.
Person tries to keep at a distance but Coffey has taken the fight into the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Coffey scores with a nice short uppercut.

Coffey successfully pulls guard.
Willy Coffey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Coffey pulls Person in close to his closed guard and prevents Person from doing any damage or advancing position.
Coffey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Person!

Person is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Person really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coffey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Coffey connects with a bit shot that sees Person covering up! More strikes from Coffey and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Coffey is our winner by TKO!
