Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero throws a head kick that misses.
Zero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before SilvA can pounce on him.
Royce SilvA seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

SilvA tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zero was well out of range. Poor timing from SilvA.

Both fighters circling a little - Zero finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Zero postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Zero tries to move to mount but SilvA blocks the move with his legs.

SilvA holds on for dear life, controlling Zero's posture momentarily.

BOOM! Zero connects with a massive shot to the dome!

SilvA is looking to improve his position but Zero isn't that keen on the idea.

Zero is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. SilvA can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Zero throws a low kick but SilvA avoids it.
SilvA fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zero on the side of the head.

Zero is looking to clinch but SilvA is avoiding it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from SilvA lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zero has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zero and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zero misses with a takedown attempt - SilvA sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with SilvA but SilvA pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Zero pivots, looking for a leg kick but SilvA is out of range and Zero settles back down.

That kick from SilvA tenderised Zero's leg. Zero is trying to keep his angry face on.

Zero has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from SilvA.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting SilvA here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

SilvA stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zero swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Royce SilvA wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Zero on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

SilvA is pawing at Zero, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Zero's nose. Zero is badly hurt! SilvA pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Zero tries desperately to hold on but SilvA is relentless in his assault! As Zero receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls SilvA away and this one is in the books!
