Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kenobi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Silakka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kenobi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Silakka thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Silakka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kenobi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silakka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kenobi's back instead.
Kenobi can't escape the position.
Silakka is trying to stick to Kenobi's back but Kenobi is turning into Silakka. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silakka's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kenobi.
