The crowd seem to be enjoying Martinez's choice of entrance music: Major Lazer - Pon De Floor. Challa throws a low kick but it's checked well by Martinez.
Martinez throws a poor cross that misses
and Challa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A telegraphed right hand from Challa misses the target.
Challa throws a hook but Martinez avoids it easily.
Challa connects with an inside leg kick.
Challa misses with a body shot.
Challa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Martinez's sensitive parts.
Challa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Martinez momentarily.
Martinez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Martinez goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Martinez misses with a low kick as Challa jumps back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Challa stuns Martinez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Challa does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A head kick from Challa lands but Martinez takes it in his stride.

Challa takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Martinez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Challa.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Challa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martinez.
Challa takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Martinez thuds his right hand into Challa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Challa is rocked!
Crunch! Martinez slams his shin into Challa's torso.
Martinez closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Challa! Martinez dives in looking to finish! Challa is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
