Obusan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Obusan misses with the combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gomez.
Gomez dives in and grabs Obusan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Obusan pushes down on Gomez's head and hops out.

Gomez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Obusan tries to avoid it but Gomez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Obusan to the ground. Obusan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gomez wants to take Obusan's back but he can't do it this time.
Obusan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Gomez is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Obusan is in real trouble.

Gomez is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Obusan is defending well though. Gomez let's go of the attempt for now.
