Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bors De Camlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Big Bad Wolf by Duck Sauce as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bors De Camlan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Williams!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Camlan manages to avoid it.
De Camlan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
De Camlan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Williams misses with a double jab
and De Camlan counters with a left and a right that stings Williams.
De Camlan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
De Camlan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Williams under the eye.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but De Camlan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bors De Camlan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Williams.
Williams will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Williams connects with a good right hand that stumbles De Camlan. De Camlan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Williams closes the distance and clinches up with De Camlan, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes De Camlan against the cage but De Camlan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

De Camlan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from De Camlan.

Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
De Camlan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Williams's head.
De Camlan lunges at Williams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Williams's hand.
Williams throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Williams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Williams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

De Camlan shoots in but no luck this time.

De Camlan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and De Camlan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

De Camlan stands up and waves to Williams to follow him.
De Camlan tries a head kick but it misses.
Williams stalks De Camlan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into De Camlan's face. De Camlan staggers backwards, shaken.
Williams does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. De Camlan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Camlan tries to bench press Williams off him but Williams keeps the position.
De Camlan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Williams off and has taken his back!

Williams is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if De Camlan gets his way!

That was a close round but I would say that Bors De Camlan will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bors De Camlan will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
