Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Sakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakes has chosen Rock Me Sexy Jesus -Jesus Himself as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesus Sakes!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sakes.
Lesnar closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Jesus Sakes has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sakes is defended easily by Lesnar.
Sakes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lesnar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sakes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lesnar stuffs the takedown.
Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Sakes.
Lesnar swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Lesnar tries a head kick but it misses.

Sakes forces Lesnar back against the cage and clinches.
Lesnar tries for a takedown but Sakes manages to get underhooks.
Lesnar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sakes smiles and moves away.
Lesnar throws a low kick, looking for Sakes's leg but Sakes calmly moves out of range.

Sakes forces Lesnar back against the cage and clinches.
Lesnar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sakes.
Lesnar stalls.
Sakes has Lesnar pushed against the cage.
Sakes lands a nice uppercut.
Lesnar jumps guard but Sakes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lesnar is trying to force a seperation but Sakes has the dominant position.
Lesnar letting Sakes take a breather here.
Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sakes avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Lesnar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sakes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar misses with a body punch.
Lesnar wants to take the fight to the mat but Sakes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sakes prevents the takedown attempt.

Sakes manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Sakes moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sakes.
Lesnar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sakes after a bit of a struggle.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Lesnar is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sakes is defending well.
Lesnar can't break the clinch.
Lesnar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sakes pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sakes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lesnar was covering up waiting for the punch and Sakes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sakes passes into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar is trying to escape back to his feet but Sakes uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Sakes tries for a kimura but Lesnar is defending well.

Sakes decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lesnar to his feet.

Lesnar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sakes trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sakes is controlling him.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sakes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lesnar trying to keep a closed guard but Sakes is proving a slippery customer.

Sakes decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lesnar, up you get!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lesnar tries to clinch up but Sakes circles away and keeps his distance.
Lesnar swinging wildly here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesus Sakes dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jesus Sakes's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Sakes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lesnar's guard.
Sakes pushes down on Lesnar's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Sakes is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Lesnar still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Lesnar has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Sakes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lesnar off and has taken his back!

Sakes working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sakes sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Lesnar taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jesus Sakes!
