Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Clipse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin has chosen King of Kings by Motorhead as his entrance music. King Marvin acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clipse displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marvin throws out the jab.

and Clipse counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Marvin's corner calls for a 1-2. Marvin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Marvin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Clipse to the ground. Marvin is now in Clipse's guard.
Clipse controls Marvin momentarily but Marvin frees himself.
Marvin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clipse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marvin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Marvin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clipse as he avoids it easily.
Clipse bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Clipse.
Well Marvin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
