And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Agapito Hampaslupa!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rico tests Hampaslupa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rico throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rico throws a combination. Hampaslupa tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Agapito Hampaslupa has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rico jabs at Hampaslupa's body.
Hampaslupa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rico's sensitive parts.
Hampaslupa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hampaslupa tries to clinch up but Rico circles away and keeps his distance.
Hampaslupa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hampaslupa throws a sloppy head kick and Rico moves out of range easily.
Hampaslupa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hampaslupa takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rico connects with a body shot.
Hampaslupa throws a series of punches but Rico moves out of range.
Hampaslupa throws a head kick that misses.
Hampaslupa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hampaslupa on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Hampaslupa is rocked!
Johnnie Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rico ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hampaslupa looks gassed!
Rico misses with a double jab.
Rico throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Hampaslupa crashing down! Hampaslupa tries to stagger back to his feet but Rico just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Hampaslupa asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnnie Rico!
Johnnie Rico opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
