The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Po darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Po trying to control from half guard but Mullins is working away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mullins is trying to stand up here but Po is controlling him well.
Po wants to pass to mount but Mullins is defending the position.

Mullins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mullins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Po escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mullins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Po is on top in guard.
Po throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Po throws a strike but Mullins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mullins cracks Po with a solid left hand.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Po drops back looking for a leg! Mullins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mullins manages to kick Po off! Po jumps back into Mullins's guard.
Po won't allow Mullins to get back to his feet.

Mullins is sitting in close to Po's body. Po has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mullins is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mullins is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Po.
