Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Lee!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone wants to clinch

and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Stone tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lee wants to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lee tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Lee tries to get to full guard but Stone has control of the leg.

Stone stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.

Lee drags the fight down to the ground.
Lee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Stone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Lee will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Stone wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Stone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Stone decides to stand back up. Stone steps back and let's Lee get back to his feet.

Lee forces Stone back against the cage and clinches.
Stone fails to pull guard.
Stone is trying to break free.

Lee manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee pulls Stone in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone won't allow Lee to sweep him here.
Lee has Stone pulled in close to control his posture.
Lee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Stone dives into side control.
Lee is not content to let Stone control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard.

Stone decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Lee scores a takedown into full mount!
Stone is breathing heavily.
Lee looking to finish Stone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Stone!
Lee lands with some strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stone is in all sorts of trouble here.

Lee looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee controlling the position easily from mount.
Lee fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Stone wants to control but Lee is having none of it.
Lee raining down hammerfists from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Lee dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Stone has had enough of the clinch but Lee keeps him there for the moment.
Lee lands a body punch in the clinch.

Lee ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lee no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lee trying to keep a closed guard but Stone is proving a slippery customer.
Lee keeping full guard, as Stone tries to pass.
Lee throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Lee seems keen to control Stone's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tom Lee was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee clinches with his opponent.
Stone is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Lee lands a takedown into guard.
Tom Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.
Lee sitting in guard, not really doing much.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee wants to sweep but no luck.
Lee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lee controlling Stone's posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stone.

Lee scores a takedown into full mount!
Lee looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lee looking to secure an arm triangle but Stone defends it well.
Stone keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee working the ground and pound effectively.
Lee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stone looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Lee goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stone rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lee's guard! Nice work there by Stone!

Stone stands up from Lee's guard - Stone perhaps looking for a knockout.
Stone tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee avoids the body shot from Stone.
Lee chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Lee forces Stone back against the cage and clinches.
Lee throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Stones head.
Lee is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Lee has picked Stone up - he's going for a ride! Lee dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lee is looking for a kimura but Stone is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lee to get the leverage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lee in particular looking to stall.
Stone looks like he's trying to stand up.
Stone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lee seems to be looking for submissions.
Stone gets full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stone wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.
Stone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee is standing up over Stone. Stone looks to escape but Lee dives into side control.

Stone is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it.
Lee controls the position.
Lee tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Stone being controlled for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee scores with a couple of short elbows.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tom Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
