PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Pawter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Loveladdy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loveladdy has chosen PANTERA - F*CKING HOSTILE as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Pawter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Forrest Loveladdy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loveladdy misses the shot to the body.
Loveladdy throws a low kick but Pawter moves out of range easily.
Pawter misses with a few strikes there.
Loveladdy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Loveladdy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pawter's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Loveladdy is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Pawter reverses the position - he's now on top in Loveladdy's guard.
Pawter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Loveladdy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pawter's face.

Pawter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Loveladdy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Loveladdy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pawter's sensitive parts.
Pawter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pawter wants it to stay on the feet.
Loveladdy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pawter sprawls well. Pawter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Loveladdy gets slowly back to his feet.

Pawter is not content to let Loveladdy control the position.

Loveladdy is staying tight to Pawter's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Loveladdy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pawter to his feet.
Loveladdy punishes Pawter's body with a nice straight punch.
A jab from Loveladdy does it's job there.
Pawter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Loveladdy lunges at Pawter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pawter's hand.
No joy there for Pawter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Loveladdy connects with a single shot there.
Pawter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Loveladdy is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Loveladdy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A thudding body kick lands there by Loveladdy!
Loveladdy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pawter at a distance.

The fighters circle momentarily. Loveladdy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pawter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Loveladdy. Loveladdy obviously looking to wear him down.
Loveladdy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Forrest Loveladdy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Pawter takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


Pawter is rocked!
A head kick by Loveladdy - that's a beauty! Pawter is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Loveladdy can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Forrest Loveladdy!
An intense looking Forrest Loveladdy took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Well done, i will be back....'.
