Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Jakort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ralph Jakort will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakort gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Askren to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Askren avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jakort has his foot on Askren's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Askren works his way back into a safe position though.
Askren is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Askren loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Askren wants to control from the top but Jakort keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jakort looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Askren with a nice head shot there.
Askren is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jakort has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Askren is looking to defend but Jakort has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Askren! Jakort pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Askren taps out and this one is all over!
