Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Timler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timler is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sean White hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

White darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
White has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Timler works to full guard.
White has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Timler is proving hard to escape from.

White is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
