Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boss Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conlaoch Cuchulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man darts in and clinches Cuchulainn up against the cage.

Cuchulainn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cuchulainn manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Man's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cuchulainn wants to get up but he can't break Man's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Man gets underhooks to prevent Cuchulainn's takedown attempt.
Cuchulainn is pressed up against the cage. Man has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cuchulainn down to the mat. Cuchulainn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A head kick misses from Man.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cuchulainn as he jumps to the side.
Boss Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boss Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man is breathing heavily.

Cuchulainn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cuchulainn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Man's waist but Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cuchulainn off to one side.

Man has managed to clinch.

Cuchulainn has picked Man up - he's going for a ride! Cuchulainn dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Man keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Cuchulainn is keen to just control but Man is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Conlaoch Cuchulainn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Conlaoch Cuchulainn wasn't active enough on the ground.
