The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Postiga is looking to clinch but Nascimento is avoiding it.
Nascimento changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Postiga tries to avoid it but Nascimento manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Postiga to the ground. Postiga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nascimento keeps the fight on the outside.
Nascimento misses with a wild combination.
Nascimento chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A jab from Postiga does it's job there.

It looks like Capitao Nascimento has been cut.
Postiga tries to clinch up but Nascimento circles away and keeps his distance.

Postiga gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nascimento.

Nascimento has Postiga pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Postiga manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Nascimento takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Postiga looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Postiga cracks Nascimento with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nascimento looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Postiga finish him?

That has opened up Capitao Nascimento's cut even more.
Postiga steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Nascimento is out on his feet! Postiga sets himself and nearly takes Nascimento's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
