Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaiden Shinji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Leben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Leben's choice of entrance music: Changes. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Leben!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinji dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leben. That did some damage!
Shinji lands a front kick.
Leben fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Shinji lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leben looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Leben fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Shinji.
Leben fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shinji avoids it really well and circles away.
Gaiden Shinji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Leben.
Shinji scores with a kick to the body.

Shinji slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shinji lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Shinji throws a nice head kick!
Leben takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shinji connects with a single shot there.

Leben is rocked!
Leben tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Shinji counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Leben is still on wobbly legs! Can Shinji finish him?
Leben looks gassed!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Shinji! This one is all over!

Gaiden Shinji tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
