Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mortal Kombat. Jimmy has chosen The Truth Shall Set You Free - Silence as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hector Lombard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Little Jimmy!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Jimmy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jimmy shoots in for a takedown but Lombard shows good takedown defense.
Jimmy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lombard tries to avoid it but Jimmy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lombard to the ground. Lombard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lombard throws a right hand that misses

and Jimmy counters by clinching up.
Jimmy misses with an elbow over the top.
Lombard is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jimmy is looking to break free of the clinch but Lombard has double underhooks.
Lombard using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jimmy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jimmy has Lombard pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lombard manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hector Lombard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Little Jimmy.
Lombard lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Lombard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jimmy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lombard but Lombard pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jimmy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lombard looks to land a combination but Jimmy avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jimmy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jimmy has a takedown stuffed.
Jimmy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lombard.
Jimmy lands a head kick. Lombard smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Hector Lombard has been cut.
Jimmy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lombard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jimmy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lombard.

Jimmy moves out of range as Lombard strikes.
Jimmy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jimmy misses with a takedown attempt
and Lombard counters with a stiff right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lombard throws a jab but it's blocked by Jimmy.
Jimmy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jimmy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Jimmy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lombard's head.
Lombard is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Jimmy's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Lombard shoots in and gets a takedown into Jimmy's guard.
Lombard controls from within his opponent's guard.

Lombard has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jimmy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lombard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lombard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We're going to have a standup here because Hector Lombard wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Lombard counters with a nice body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lombard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lombard throws a jab but it's blocked by Jimmy.
Jimmy throws a leg kick but Lombard sees it coming and moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hector Lombard will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jimmy tries to clinch
and Jimmy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Good exchange - Lombard coming out on top.
Little Jimmy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jimmy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Jimmy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lombard's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lombard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jimmy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lombard is proving hard to escape from.

Little Jimmy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jimmy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lombard as he jumps to the side.

Jimmy throws a looping overhand right but Lombard ducks down to avoid it.
Lombard defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jimmy.
Lombard lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jimmy falls backwards - clearly groggy! Lombard dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
