Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rulian Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bartholomew - The Silent Comedy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Eriksson as Gracie shoots in.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eriksson is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Eriksson circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
so Eriksson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mikael Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rulian Gracie.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Eriksson defends it easily.
Eriksson prevents Gracie from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eriksson trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eriksson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Eriksson from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mikael Eriksson just wasn't active enough.
Eriksson moves into the clinch.
Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Eriksson lands a takedown into guard.
Eriksson wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Eriksson trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Eriksson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mikael Eriksson.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie wants a takedown but no success here.
Gracie tries to break free but Eriksson pushes him back against the cage.

Eriksson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Eriksson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gracie walks away with a smile on his face. Eriksson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Eriksson shoots and misses
and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Eriksson's guard.
Gracie passes Eriksson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Eriksson is breathing heavily.
Eriksson tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Eriksson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gracie has cracked it and Eriksson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gracie!
