PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clubber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard has chosen Mortal Kombat as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Lang misses with a few strikes there.
Lombard takes a jab right on the kisser.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lombard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lang circles away quickly and effectively.
Lang throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lombard on the side of the head.
No joy there for Lang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lang tries to bum rush Lombard with a series of wild strikes but Lombard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lombard fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lombard lands a nice hook to Lang's body. Lang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lombard lands a big right hand that sends Lang crashing to the mat! Lombard stays standing though and waves Lang back to his feet!
