The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crump swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rogers counters with a three punch combo that has Crump backing up. Crump nods at Rogers to acknowledge the strikes.
Crump misses with a two punch combination.
Crump misses with a double jab
and Rogers counters with a right hand to the body.
Crump swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rogers counters with a right hand to the body.
Crump falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rogers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Crump fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers sizes up Crump with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Rogers darts in and clinches Crump up against the cage.
Crump wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Crump is looking to break free of the clinch but Rogers has double underhooks.

Crump takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Crump is breathing heavily.
A nice combination there by Rogers.
Crump throws a series of punches but Rogers avoids them all with ease.

Rogers scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Crump doesn't seem bothered though.
Rogers's corner calls for a 1-2. Rogers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Rogers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crump throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rogers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Crump thinking.
Rogers digs a good hook to Crump's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crump moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rogers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rogers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rogers jabs at Crump's body.
Leonard Crump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rogers darts in and clinches Crump up against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Rogers.
A left hand lands to the body for Rogers.
A short right from Rogers.
A left hand lands to the body for Rogers.
Rogers lands a body punch in the clinch.

Crump takes an elbow to the temple.
Rogers lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Crump or not.
Crump managing to block the knees to the body from Rogers.
Rogers pushes Crump back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rogers throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Rogers breaks from the clinch.
Rogers lands with a good body shot.
Crump takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rogers scores with a jab to the jaw.
Rogers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rogers tests Crump's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Crump is rocked!
Rogers connects with a body shot.
Rogers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rogers misses with a double jab.
Rogers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oh Crump is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crump takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rogers drops Crump with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rogers follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
