Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedreiro Jiujiteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodef Canmelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiujiteiro comes to the cage accompanied by Chão de Giz. Canmelianenko has chosen Emperor - The Loss And Curse Of Reverence as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodef Canmelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiujiteiro throws a combination that misses

and Canmelianenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Canmelianenko passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Canmelianenko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Canmelianenko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jiujiteiro defends it easily.

Canmelianenko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Canmelianenko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jiujiteiro defends it well.

Canmelianenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jiujiteiro is just riding it out for now. Canmelianenko eventually gives up the hold.

Canmelianenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jiujiteiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Canmelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
