Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon McBacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robbie Lawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon McBacon! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McBacon wants to clinch up but Lawler keeps it at a distance. Lawler throws a right and a left that both miss. Lawler stuffs the takedown. McBacon throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
McBacon doesn't manage to clinch there - Lawler circles away.
A punch combination from McBacon misses. Robbie Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McBacon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lawler keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McBacon avoids the body shot from Lawler.
Lawler ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McBacon lands with a thumping leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McBacon. McBacon cracks Lawler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Lawler connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt McBacon! He's out on his feet! Lawler rushes in and drops McBacon with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Robbie Lawler! Robbie Lawler tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
