Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Chevalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Heavyweight Champion of the World. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chevalier lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Smith backs up against the cage.

It looks like Leon Smith has been cut.
A head kick from Smith lands but Chevalier takes it in his stride.

It looks like Ronald Chevalier has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith throws a low kick, looking for Chevalier's leg but Chevalier calmly moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chevalier checks a leg kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chevalier!
Chevalier throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Smith throws a body kick that misses.
Smith throws a head kick but Chevalier moves out of range.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Smith tries to keep at a distance but Chevalier has taken the fight into the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chevalier tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Leon Smith has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Chevalier tries to clinch up.
Chevalier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith throws a leg kick but Chevalier sees it coming and moves out of range.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Chevalier stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
Chevalier connects with a nice looking jab.
Chevalier misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A left and a right from Chevalier both land. Nice combination.

Leon Smith's cut is getting worse.
Smith throws a push kick but Chevalier slaps the foot to one side.

Chevalier moves into the clinch.
Chevalier makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Smith tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chevalier avoids it.

Chevalier blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Chevalier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Chevalier scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Smith tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Smith throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Chevalier moves into range and connects with a jab.
Chevalier moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith throws a nice outside leg kick.
Smith chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Chevalier clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Chevalier lands with a right that hurts Smith. Smith looks to clinch but Chevalier throws a short knee that drops Smith. This one is all over!
