Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Langdon Dolwilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Stram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor Stram has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Langdon Dolwilt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taylor Stram!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stram fails with the takedown
and Dolwilt counters with a slapping leg kick.
Stram shoots and misses
and Dolwilt counters with an inside leg kick.
Stram shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dolwilt counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stram's knee momentarily.
Langdon Dolwilt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taylor Stram.
Stram fails with the takedown
and Dolwilt counters with a good, hard body kick but Stram shrugs it off.
Dolwilt looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Stram tries for a takedown but Dolwilt circles away easily
and Dolwilt counters with a leg kick.
Dolwilt lands a leg kick that knocks Stram off balance momentarily.

Dolwilt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Stram isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dolwilt stacks Stram on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dolwilt!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dolwilt has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Dolwilt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stram.
Dolwilt lands a head kick!

Dolwilt pushes Stram up against the cage in a clinch.
Stram is trying to drag Dolwilt to the mat but Dolwilt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Dolwilt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stram manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dolwilt on his heels. He'll look to pass Dolwilt's guard now, I'm sure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stram drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dolwilt dives on top into guard.
Dolwilt wanted to stand there but Stram had control of the position.
Stram is striking off his back. Dolwilt thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Dolwilt keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Stram missing with punches from the bottom.
Dolwilt is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stram!
Stram tries to hold on but Dolwilt pushes him away.
Stram is trying desperately to improve position.
Dolwilt avoids the attempt from Stram to control.

Dolwilt stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Stram misses with a takedown

and Dolwilt counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dolwilt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stram looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dolwilt decides to stand back up. Dolwilt steps back and let's Stram get back to his feet.
Dolwilt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Dolwilt counters with a nice body shot.

and Dolwilt counters with a low kick, right behind Stram 's knee.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stram shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dolwilt counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stram's knee momentarily.
Stram looks gassed!

and Dolwilt counters with a good low kick that Stram was not able to check.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Langdon Dolwilt dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dolwilt lands a high kick!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dolwilt.
Taylor Stram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dolwilt counters with a slapping leg kick.
Stram shoots and misses
and Dolwilt makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Langdon Dolwilt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taylor Stram.
Dolwilt pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Dolwilt gets a clinch.
Stram tries to score a body lock takedown but Dolwilt shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dolwilt jumps into guard, dragging Stram to the mat.
Stram is looking to work some ground and pound but Dolwilt has wrist control.
Dolwilt pulls Stram in close to his closed guard and prevents Stram from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stram is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dolwilt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dolwilt has escaped and now he's on top!
Stram is breathing heavily.

Stram throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dolwilt escapes and throws Stram's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Stram is looking for a sweep.
Stram is trying to work for a sweep but Dolwilt has mounted him!
Stram tries to hold on but Dolwilt pushes him away.
Langdon Dolwilt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dolwilt looking to control and managing it successfully.

Dolwilt is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Stram avoids the head kick by Dolwilt.
Stram leaves Dolwilt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dolwilt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stram sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dolwilt somewhat.

and Dolwilt counters by moving into the clinch.

Stram drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dolwilt looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dolwilt looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dolwilt!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Stram reaches up around Dolwilt's neck trying to control. But Dolwilt takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Stram! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Stram is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Dolwilt celebrates the victory with the fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Langdon Dolwilt!
