Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Situation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Situation comes to the cage accompanied by Worlds Greatest. Balboa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye Of The Tiger. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa moves out of range as Situation throws a body kick.
Situation uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Balboa.
Balboa throws a looping overhand right but Situation ducks down to avoid it.
Balboa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Situation.
A left lands for Balboa.
Situation throws a head kick but Balboa moves out of range.
Balboa avoids the head kick by Situation.
Balboa misses with a body shot.
Balboa lands an overhand right.
Situation throws a body punch but Balboa moves out of range.
Balboa misses with a looping right.
Balboa misses with a jab to the body
and Situation counters with an inside leg kick.
Situation throws a head kick that misses.
Balboa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like The Situation has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balboa tries to bum rush Situation with a series of wild strikes but Situation uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Balboa misses with a left hand
and Situation counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Balboa loads up on a big right hand but Situation slips the punch.
Balboa misses with a lunging right hand
and Situation counters with a big head kick but Balboa shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jab, jab by Situation - just one landing.

It looks like Michael Balboa has been cut.
Situation moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Balboa looks gassed!
Situation lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Situation punishes Balboa's body with a nice straight punch.
Situation scores with a head kick. Balboa tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Situation tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Situation lands a big head kick that sends Balboa tumbling to the mat! Situation takes a step backwards and waves Balboa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Situation counters with a nice low kick that buckles Balboa's knee momentarily.
Balboa is still on wobbly legs! Can Situation finish him?
Situation lands a big head kick that sends Balboa to the canvas! Situation follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Situation!
Post fight, an emotional The Situation said 'I got a girl cage side, a girl in the locker room, and dead guy in the cage.. But hey, somebodies gotta do it!'.
