Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjj God Jesus Dad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Mata! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj God Jesus Dad! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Jesus Dad enables Mata to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jesus Dad manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mata with a flurry of punches that miss. Mata stands up over Jesus Dad, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mata makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jesus Dad looking for a guillotine here but Mata defends easily.
Mata is looking to stand up but Jesus Dad won't let him. Mata with a nice head shot there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mata slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mata stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jesus Dad swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jesus Dad is working an open guard so Mata takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mata gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jesus Dad tries to break free but Mata pushes him back against the cage. Jesus Dad is trying to break free. Jesus Dad is looking to break free of the clinch but Mata has double underhooks. Mata tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jesus Dad tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jesus Dad wants to break free but Mata has control.
Mata effectively controlling the action here. Jesus Dad tries to break free but Mata pushes him back against the cage. Mata manages to pull guard.
Jesus Dad drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mata dives on top into guard. Jesus Dad keeping moving, preventing Mata from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mata tries to stand but Jesus Dad is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mata has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jesus Dad to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mata is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jesus Dad pulls down on the head and he's put Mata to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bjj God Jesus Dad!
