Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Paige (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paige comes to the cage accompanied by Led Zeppelin- Immigrant Song. Hoffman has chosen click here as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Hoffman does no damage.
Paige throws a lazy uppercut
and Hoffman counters with a stiff right hand.
Chris Paige seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paige lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hoffman circles away quickly and effectively.
Paige bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hoffman's head backwards.
Paige throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Hoffman stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Paige follows into mount!
Hoffman is rocked!
Hoffman is desperately trying to improve his position but Paige has a good base and remains in mount.
Hoffman is still in real trouble! Can Paige finish him?
Hoffman tries to hold on but Paige pushes him away.
Hoffman seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paige looking to control but Hoffman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Paige is riding his opponent, not letting Hoffman buck him off.
You can see the frustration on Hoffman's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Paige is trying to stick to Hoffman's back but Hoffman is turning into Paige. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Paige's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hoffman.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Paige had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hoffman defends it easily.

Hoffman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Paige momentarily.
Paige fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hoffman.
Paige throws a jab but it's blocked by Hoffman.
Paige misses with a looping left.

Hoffman shoots for a takedown but Paige saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hoffman takes a shot right to the bread basket.
No joy there for Hoffman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Paige ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Paige looks for the body kick but Hoffman saw that one coming.
Paige looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hoffman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paige.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Paige enables Hoffman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Paige manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Paige will probably get the nod.
