The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Sakamoto.
Sherman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sakamoto is out of range.
Sakamoto throws a right hand that Sherman ducks under and follows up with a left that Sherman also avoids with ease.
Sherman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sakamoto's calf.
Sherman throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sakamoto.

It looks like Paul Sakamoto has been cut.
Crunch! Sherman slams his shin into Sakamoto's torso.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sakamoto gets tackled into the cage by Sherman. Sherman maintains the clinch.
Sherman connects with a knee to the head.
Sherman pushes Sakamoto back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

A nice left hand lands by Sherman.
Sakamoto takes a shot to the head.
Sherman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sakamoto avoids it.
Sherman scores with a shoulder strike.
Sherman has Sakamoto pressed against the cage.

Sherman lands an elbow inside.
Sherman landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Sherman misses with a knee to the head.
Sherman lands an elbow inside that Sakamoto shrugs off.
Sherman comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Sherman lands a nice knee to the body.
Sherman lands a damaging elbow.

Paul Sakamoto's cut is getting worse.
Sherman is pushing Sakamoto up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Sherman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sakamoto backwards.
Sherman working the clinch nicely. Sakamoto is working for position but Sherman cracks him with a big knee to the head! Sakamoto crumples up against the cage and Sherman lands two more shots before the ref can save Sakamoto! This one is all over!
