The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bonaparte is defended easily by Experiment V.
Experiment V misses with a kick to the body.

Bonaparte shoots for a double leg takedown but Experiment V sprawls well. He's pushed Bonaparte's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Russian Experiment V has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Bonaparte displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Experiment V throws out the jab.

Bonaparte throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Experiment V tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bonaparte is in Experiment V's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Experiment V is looking to stand up but Bonaparte isn't so interested in that idea.

Let's hope that Bonaparte has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bonaparte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Experiment V's waist but Experiment V gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bonaparte off to one side.

Bonaparte closes the distance and clinches up with Experiment V, looking for a takedown. Bonaparte pushes Experiment V against the cage but Experiment V circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Napoleon Bonaparte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Experiment V lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bonaparte is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bonaparte dives in and grabs Experiment V's left leg, looking for a takedown. Experiment V pushes down on Bonaparte's head and hops out.
Bonaparte takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Bonaparte is still on wobbly legs! Can Experiment V finish him?
Experiment V throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bonaparte crashing down! Bonaparte tries to stagger back to his feet but Experiment V just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bonaparte asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russian Experiment V!
