Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eiji Kisaragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hettie Kate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kate has chosen Peanuts Theme as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hettie Kate!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kate tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kate looks to land a body kick but Kisaragi moved away.
Kate blocks a leg kick.
Kisaragi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kisaragi misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kate tries to clinch
and Kisaragi counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A solid body kick from Kisaragi.
Kate takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kisaragi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kisaragi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kate bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kisaragi throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kate.

and Kate counters by clinching up.
Kate gets through Kisaragi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kisaragi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Kate obliges.
Kate stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kate tries to land a knee to the head but Kisaragi blocks with his arms.

Kisaragi manages to pull guard.
Kate tries to stand but Kisaragi is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kisaragi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kate frees his head nicely. Oh but Kisaragi has switched to an armbar! Kate is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Eiji Kisaragi really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that HeavyWeight Designs logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
