Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Mantiega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gisilbert Justus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mantiega comes into the arena with Gimme Shelter blaring out of the sound system. Pedro Mantiega has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mantiega is looking to clinch but Justus is avoiding it.
Mantiega avoids the body shot from Justus .
Justus misses with a shot to the body

and Mantiega counters by clinching up.
Mantiega blocks an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mantiega.
Justus trying to control the position but instead, Mantiega has worked for underhooks and has pushed Justus into the cage.
Mantiega has Justus pressed against the cage, preventing Justus from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Justus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mantiega regains guard.
Mantiega will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Justus wants to pass the guard but Mantiega is keeping the position.

Justus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mantiega does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mantiega tries to kick Justus off in order to stand up. Justus Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Justus in side control lands a decent elbow.
Justus cracks Mantiega with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Justus is looking to take a break and control but Mantiega is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mantiega wants to get back to his feet but Justus drags him back down.
Justus grinds an elbow into Mantiega's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mantiega is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Justus has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Justus wants to control but Mantiega is keeping him busy.
Mantiega takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mantiega sneaks out the side door and pushes Justus away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Justus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mantiega's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mantiega is wriggling around but Justus manages to pass to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mantiega pushes Justus off looking to stand but Justus dives back in and keeps control.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Justus is trying to force a seperation but Mantiega has the dominant position.

Justus misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Mantiega is trying to stand back up but Justus is controlling him
Mantiega scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Justus manages to mount him!
Justus won't let Mantiega get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Justus lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Justus with shots to the head and body - Mantiega looks very uncomfortable down there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mantiega's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Justus tries to control but Mantiega wriggling away.

Oh Mantiega is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mantiega is bucking up trying to escape but Justus cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mantiega is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Justus has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Justus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mantiega's face.
Justus loads up with a big shot that hurts Mantiega! He's pulled Justus in close but Justus has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Mantiega survive? More strikes from Justus and Mantiega is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
