Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan McCriux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Logan McCriux has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Logan McCriux!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCriux wants to clinch up but Barnes keeps it at a distance.
McCriux throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCriux closes the distance but Barnes moves to the side
and Barnes makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Barnes scores with a shot to the body.
Barnes lands a nice leg kick that just misses McCriux's sensitive parts.
McCriux gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Barnes.
McCriux shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barnes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barnes throws a nice inside leg kick.
McCriux doesn't manage to clinch there - Barnes circles away.
Barnes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

McCriux avoids the head kick by Barnes.
Barnes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Barnes throws a wild body kick that McCriux sees coming a mile off.
Barnes lands with a cross.
Logan McCriux is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barnes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barnes punishes McCriux's body with a nice straight punch.
Barnes scores with a jab. McCriux acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Barnes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barnes throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

McCriux misses with a wild body shot.
McCriux slips under a jab from Barnes.
McCriux darts in trying to clinch
and Barnes counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Barnes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McCriux stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McCriux instigates a clinch.

Barnes breaks the clinch.
McCriux doesn't manage to clinch there - Barnes circles away.
Barnes delivers a nice body kick.

Barnes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Barnes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McCriux.
McCriux tries to clinch but Barnes moves away
and Barnes counters with a good, hard body kick but McCriux shrugs it off.
McCriux looks gassed!
McCriux drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Barnes lands a nice hook to McCriux's body. McCriux takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barnes scores with a crisp jab that stopped McCriux in his tracks.
McCriux doesn't manage to clinch there - Barnes circles away.
Barnes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McCriux wants to clinch but Barnes slips to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Barnes lands a jab to the nose.

McCriux is rocked!

Barnes feints a jab and as McCriux dips his head, Barnes unleashes a brutal head kick that catches McCriux right on the jaw! Timbeeer! McCriux falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Barnes smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nate Barnes!
During a confident post fight interview, Nate Barnes thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
