Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlo Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lebron James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Gambino.

and James cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gambino.

Gambino forces James back against the cage and clinches.
James tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gambino tries to clinch up but James circles away and keeps his distance.
No joy there for Gambino, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gambino.

James lands a leg kick that knocks Gambino off balance momentarily.
James is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gambino rather than just go for the knockout.

Gambino darts in and clinches James up against the cage.

Gambino wants to get back to striking at distance but James won't allow it.
A frustrated look appears on James's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Gambino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gambino tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gambino closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gambino takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
James throws a body punch but Gambino moves out of range.
James is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
James shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gambino eats them both and turns towards James to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gambino avoids the body shot from James.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lebron James dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gambino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gambino crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from James - the referee stops the clock and Gambino gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says James. Gambino manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gambino is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
James feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gambinos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
James lands with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gambino throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gambino.
Gambino takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
James fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

James bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
James buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gambino takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
James throws a body punch but Gambino moves out of range.

James lands a big head kick that sends Gambino tumbling to the mat! James takes a step backwards and waves Gambino back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

James lands a head kick. Gambino smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Carlo Gambino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Look low, kick high! James uses the oldest trick in the book to send Gambino tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! James is absolutely delighted - when Gambino wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
