Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Goss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goss is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Absolute Zero: Define Neutral. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Goss!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin tries to clinch but Goss moves out of range.
Martin looks for a takedown but Goss sprawls well.
Goss feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Goss slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Goss working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Goss takes a little break here. Martin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Goss is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Martin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Martin sneaks back into half guard.
Goss working over Martin with some ground and pound. Martin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goss passes to side control.
Goss tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goss has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Martin is looking to reverse the position.
Martin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Martin prevents Goss from moving into mount.
Goss is looking to take a break and control but Martin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Martin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Goss goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Martin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Goss but great work by Martin.
Goss looks gassed!
Goss manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goss looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Goss moves into full guard.
Martin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Goss is retaining full guard.
Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goss on the ground.
Goss working for a triangle but Martin defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin is sitting in close to Goss's body. Goss has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Martin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Martin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Goss.
