The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Still lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rage's sensitive parts.
Rage looks to land a right hand but Still moved out of range.
No luck for Still with that takedown attempt.
Still tries to bum rush Rage with a series of wild strikes but Rage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rage pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Still back to the cage. Rage follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Matt Still has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Still throws a series of punches but Rage avoids them all with ease.

Rage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Still postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rage keeping moving, preventing Still from controlling successfully.
Still stands up over Rage, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Still. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Still pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rage is keeping the position for now.
Still trying to control the position from guard on top but Rage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Still stands and throws Rage's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Still is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rage is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rage walks forward, straight into a front kick from Still.

Gunner Rage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Still counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rage throws an off balance right hand
and Still counters with an outside leg kick.
Rage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Still circles away quickly and effectively.
Still keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rage throws a lazy uppercut
and Still counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rage misses with the combination.

Still shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Still showed some decent athleticism there.
Still has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Still wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rage keeps working.

Still is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rage can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rage wants to stand back up but Still manages to pass into side control.

Rage is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Still asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Rage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rage.

Rage will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Rage! Still is backing up but he can't get away as Rage lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Still and ends the fight. Great knockout.
