The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy tries to close the distance and clinch but Takota swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Takota or perhaps it was just good defense by Kennedy which made him look bad.
Takota shoots in but Kennedy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kennedy misses with a body shot.
Takota looks to land a right hand but Kennedy moved out of range.
Takota tries to clinch up but Kennedy circles away and keeps his distance.
Takota displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kennedy.

Takota rushes Kennedy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kennedy is trying to maintain a safe position but Takota gets an underhook and turns Kennedy into the cage.

Kennedy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Takota gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
