Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eino Leino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eino Leino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eino Leino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris White!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leino drives through and clinches with White against the cage.
White prevents the takedown attempt.
White goes for a takedown in the clinch but Leino prevents it.
White tries for a takedown. No joy.
Leino drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leino wants a takedown.

White manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leino doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leino manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

White isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Leino stacks White on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Leino!

White has his foot on Leino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leino works his way back into a safe position though.

White is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Leino can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

White moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Leino has worked his arm free - good work by Leino!

White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Leino has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Leino.

White is in all sorts of trouble here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
White is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

White is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Leino pulls his head out easily.

Leino is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, White has managed to free his arm - good work.
White is pressing down on Leino's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Leino drops back looking for a leg! White is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and White manages to kick Leino off! Leino jumps back into White's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and White counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Leino's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
White is looking to advance position but Leino has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Leino manages to capitalize on a mistake by White to take his back!

Leino is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. White defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Leino controlling well, preventing White from escaping the position.

Leino working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White wants to control his opponent's hands but Leino gets his hands free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eino Leino will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Leino gets caught flat footed, as White shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
White sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Leino's guard.

White is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Leino is just riding it out for now. White eventually gives up the hold.
White thows a huge punch but Leino dodges it nicely.

White seems to be working for a kimura but Leino defends the submission attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
White throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

White trying to control the action but Leino is working from the bottom.

White looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
White wants to advance to full mount but Leino doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

and Leino counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Leino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
White can't keep his opponent in guard - Leino advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Leino is working for a submission of some sort.

Leino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. White doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leino.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eino Leino.
I think Leino has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
