Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kiwi Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shuichi Uchikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bird has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. On his way into the cage it seems that Kiwi Bird has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kiwi Bird seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Uchikawa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
