Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zatarain throws a body punch but Vahti moves out of range.
Nice cross by Vahti.
Vahti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zatarain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vahti is fending him off so far but Zatarain persists. Nope, Vahti circles away and we're back to standing.
Vahti scores with a nice strike.
Vahti missing with a left hand there. Zatarain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zatarain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vahti circles away quickly and effectively.
Zatarain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zatarain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Vahti misses with a body shot.
Zatarain tries a low kick but Vahti avoids it.
Vahti thumps Zatarain with a low kick.
Vahti misses with a wild body shot.
Zatarain shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Zatarain tries to move into range but Vahti moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Vahti takes a swing at Zatarain's ribcage but misses.

Zatarain takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zatarain avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Vahti looks to score with a jab to the body but Zatarain is just out of range.
Vahti steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zatarain.
Zatarain connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vahti lands a jab to Zatarain's midsection.
Zatarain moves out of range of the strikes.
Vahti throws a wild body kick that Zatarain sees coming a mile off.
Karri Vahti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zatarain looks to land a combination but Vahti avoids it well.
Zatarain lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vahti at a distance.

Vahti wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Vahti keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Vahti misses with an uppercut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Vahti.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vahti lands with a straight right. Zatarain didn't see that one coming.
Zatarain drops his hands momentarily and Vahti takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Vahti throws a body punch but Zatarain moves out of range.
Zatarain wants to clinch.
A clash of legs there as Zatarain blocks the low kick.

A low kick from Zatarain is predictable there
and Vahti counters with a stiff right hand.
Vahti avoids the body shot from Zatarain.

Zatarain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vahti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vahti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vahti swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Zatarain counter with a right hand.
Vahti throws a low kick but it's checked well by Zatarain.
Karri Vahti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vahti lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Vahti throws a good cross that connects.
Zatarain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Vahti lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Zatarain is rocked!
Zatarain walks forward, straight into a front kick from Vahti.
Zatarain is still on wobbly legs! Can Vahti finish him?
Zatarain looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zatarain walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Zatarain limp body while Vahti jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
