The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBerg moves in looking to clinch but Dixon pushes him off.
DeBerg has a takedown stuffed.
DeBerg wants to clinch.
Dixon throws the left hand but DeBerg avoids the punch easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from DeBerg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DeBerg tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dixon swivels and escapes.

DeBerg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dixon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
DeBerg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dixon pinned against the cage. Dixon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
DeBerg is breathing heavily.
Dixon misses with a series of wild punches.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dixon misses with a double jab.
Dixon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
DeBerg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dixon pinned against the cage. Dixon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dixon stuns DeBerg with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dixon cracks DeBerg with a good jab.

Oh DeBerg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dixon lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. DeBerg is looking to close the distance but Dixon sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! DeBerg crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope DeBerg is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
