The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kastinen gets caught flat footed, as Gaziev shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kastinen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Gaziev tries to free his leg and advance position but Kastinen is retaining full guard.
Kastinen has his hands on Gaziev's head, controlling the position.
Gaziev won't allow Kastinen to sweep him here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kastinen.

Kastinen tries for a kimura but Gaziev is defending well.

Kastinen has hold of Gaziev's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gaziev seems comfortable defending it but Kastinen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gaziev is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gaziev is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kastinen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
