The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nover takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Nover throws a nice looking combination but Dacir bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nover has Dacir pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dacir manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dacir creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Nover tries to pull guard but Dacir forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dacir is pushing Nover up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Dacir works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Dacir manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dacir lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nover.

Dacir escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dacir cracks Nover with a right hand to the side of the head.
Dacir pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nover back to the cage. Dacir follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Phillipe Nover has been cut.
Dacir slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nover is rocked!
Dacir feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Novers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nover fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dacir manages to avoid it.
Dacir tries to clinch but Nover moves out of range.
Some wild striking there from Nover.
Dacir lands a jab-cross combination.
Nover is still on wobbly legs! Can Dacir finish him?
Dacir is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nover can do to turn this around?
Nover displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dacir throws out the jab.
Nover seems to have recovered his senses.

and Dacir counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nover's knee momentarily.
Nover throws a right and a left that Dacir avoids nicely.

Nover avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dacir lands a big head kick that sends Nover tumbling to the mat! Dacir takes a step backwards and waves Nover back to his feet - he wants the finish!
