Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Alex Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anton Egorov!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egorov moves out of range as Cole strikes.
Cole lands with a nice combination. Egorov backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Anton Egorov has been cut.
A combination from Cole does no damage.
Cole misses with a wild combination.
Egorov dodges the punch combination from Cole.
Cole looks to throw the jab but Egorov is out of range.
Cole misses with a body punch
and Egorov counters with a low kick, right behind Cole 's knee.
Alex Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Egorov.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Egorov, right into the meat.
Cole throws the kick towards the body but Egorov avoids it.
Egorov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cole.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cole misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Egorov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Alex Cole's cut is getting worse.
Cole tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Egorov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Egorov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Egorov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Egorov is trying to work for a kimura but Cole is defending well.

Egorov works his foot free and advances to mount.
