Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gummi Tarzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nick Masterson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarzan instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Masterson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Masterson wants to get back to striking at distance but Tarzan won't allow it.
Masterson tries to circle away but Tarzan has him pinned against the cage.

Tarzan drops Masterson with a big knee straight up the middle! Masterson is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Nick Masterson has been cut.

Tarzan feints and as Masterson raises his hands in defense, Tarzan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tarzan wants to control from the top but Masterson keeps moving.
Tarzan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gummi Tarzan was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Masterson lands a jab to the head.
Masterson scores with a body shot.
Masterson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tarzan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Masterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Tarzan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Masterson's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tarzan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Masterson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tarzan.

Tarzan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tarzan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Tarzan seems to be looking for submissions.

Tarzan stands up out of the half guard.
Masterson just misses with a punch to the body.
Masterson throws a right and a left that both miss.

Tarzan rushes Masterson and presses him up against the cage.

Tarzan drags the fight down to the ground.

Tarzan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tarzan striking off his back but it's not causing Masterson any problems.

Tarzan is striking but Masterson is not phased and passes to half guard.
Tarzan moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tarzan pulls Masterson in close to his closed guard and prevents Masterson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Masterson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Masterson tries to stand but Tarzan is controlling from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tarzan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Masterson looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tarzan wants to control the pace but Masterson is squirming around nicely.
Tarzan cracks Masterson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Tarzan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Masterson is surviving well by controlling Tarzan's body position as best he can.
Tarzan postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Masterson bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Tarzan and the fight is over!
