Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Dyrdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dyrdek comes into the arena with Dirty Girl blaring out of the sound system. Rob Dyrdek could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chase Thomas's chin.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyrdek fails to land with a series of punches.
Thomas staying out of range there.

Thomas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dyrdek, pushing him back against the cage.
Dyrdek doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Thomas pressing his opponent against the cage.

Dyrdek has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Thomas clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Dyrdek biding his time, looking for the opening.
Thomas tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thomas tries to lock up and control but Dyrdek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
BOOM! Dyrdek connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dyrdek wants to control but instead Thomas manages to regain half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Thomas wants to control but Dyrdek is keeping busy.
Dyrdek is looking to take a break and control but Thomas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close round but I would say that Rob Dyrdek will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dyrdek tries to clinch there but Thomas circles away.
Thomas is looking to clinch.
Dyrdek dances in with a quick combination. Thomas is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Dyrdek snaps Thomas's head back. Thomas stumbles backwards against the cage. Dyrdek steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Thomas's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Thomas just didn't come prepared.
