Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Quatrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quatrone comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger by Kayne West. Mike Hunt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xavier Quatrone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quatrone throws a series of punches but Hunt moves out of range.
Hunt moves out of range of the strikes.
Quatrone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hunt wants to clinch up but Quatrone keeps it at a distance.
Quatrone tries to work over Hunt's front leg with a kick but Hunt checks it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hunt.
Quatrone can't do much from the bottom here.

Quatrone has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hunt is working away from the top position though.

Hunt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quatrone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Quatrone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunt's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hunt can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Xavier Quatrone will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Hunt is trying to break the clinch but Quatrone is controlling him.

Quatrone gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Quatrone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quatrone has managed to get both his arms back between Hunt's legs - danger averted.
Hunt takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Quatrone rolls with it to try and escape but Hunt cranks on the arm and Quatrone is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
